• Communications: messages, questions, or feedback you send us via contact forms or email.
• SMS opt-in: your mobile phone number and express written consent when you subscribe to receive text messages from the Campaign.

Information Collected Automatically

• Usage data: pages visited, time spent, referring URLs, browser type, device type, and operating system.
• IP address and approximate location derived from your IP address.
• Cookies and similar technologies: session cookies, analytics cookies, and preference cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though some Site features may not function properly.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To operate and improve the Site and our campaign communications.
• To send you campaign news, event announcements, volunteer opportunities, and fundraising appeals via email or SMS, where you have provided consent.
• To process donations and comply with FEC and Indiana campaign finance disclosure requirements.

The Campaign sends text messages using A2P 10-digit long code (10DLC) numbers registered with The Campaign Registry. The following terms govern our SMS program and are required by wireless carriers for A2P 10DLC compliance.

Program Description

By opting in, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from Glenn Bill for State Representative – District 86, including campaign updates, event invitations, volunteer requests, fundraising appeals, and event reminders. Message frequency varies. This is a political campaign messaging program.

How to Opt In

You may opt in to receive SMS messages by: (a) submitting your mobile phone number through an opt-in form on the Site and checking the SMS consent checkbox; (b) texting a designated keyword to our campaign number; or (c) providing written or verbal consent to a campaign representative. By opting in, you expressly consent to receive text messages from the Campaign using an automatic telephone dialing system or pre-recorded voice, as applicable.

How to Opt Out (STOP)

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After texting STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message and will receive no further SMS messages from the Campaign unless you re-subscribe. You may also opt out by contacting us at the address below.

Carrier Disclaimer

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers include, but are not limited to: AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Boost Mobile, U.S. Cellular, and MetroPCS.

No Sharing of SMS Data

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may share your data with our SMS service provider solely for the purpose of delivering messages on our behalf, subject to confidentiality obligations. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

TCPA Compliance

Our SMS program complies with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), 47 U.S.C. § 227, and the rules promulgated by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). We obtain prior express written consent before sending any promotional or campaign text messages to your mobile device. You have the right to revoke consent at any time by replying STOP.

Our email communications comply with the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 (15 U.S.C. § 7701 et seq.). Each commercial or campaign email we send will:

• Identify the sender clearly as Glenn Bill for State Representative – Indiana District 86.
• Use honest and non-deceptive subject lines.
• Include our valid physical mailing address.
• Include a clear and conspicuous opt-out mechanism in every message.
• Honor opt-out requests within 10 business days.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: We share information with trusted vendors who assist us in operating the Site, processing donations, sending emails and SMS messages, and analyzing Site traffic. These providers are contractually obligated to use your data only to perform services for us.
• Legal compliance and campaign finance: We may disclose donor information to the Indiana Election Division, the FEC, or other regulatory bodies as required by campaign finance law. Certain donor information is publicly disclosed as required by law.
• Legal process: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Campaign, our supporters, or the public.
• Consent: We may share your information with your explicit consent for purposes not described in this policy.

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your SMS opt-in data or mobile phone number with any third party for marketing purposes. All data shared with SMS or email service providers is used solely to deliver communications on our behalf.

We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit (TLS/HTTPS), access controls, and secure hosting infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
